This Flat iron is GREAT!!! It leaves my hair straight and soft, it is worth every penny, I don't even have to go to the salon anymore because my flat iron is better than what they have, it works fast and it loves my thick, long curly hair, it heats up pretty quick too and even though it heats up to 450 degrees it won't burn your hair.

This flat iron is AWESOME. I have very thick, curly hair...I have tried some less expensive models. Normally I am a bargin hunter by nature...however, this time I have to say you really do get what you pay for! I love FHI flat irons so much I bought my daughter one...so now we actually have 2 flat irons, the Platform model 1-3/4 and a Professional model 1-3/4. We love them both. The trick with any flat iron is...BLOW OUT THAT MOP FIRST... Then use your flat iron.
